As we get closer to the Affordable Care Act becoming an everyday reality, there has been lots of discussion surrounding it; some of this discussion has even happened on this blog. Bottom line: Obamacare is a lot to swallow and wrap your arms around. I always find it easier to digest something when it is broken down into smaller pieces. So let's break down one of the most important pieces: The Individual Mandate. An individual mandate is a requirement by a government that certain individual citizens purchase a good or service.
