Remember when getting on the internet meant having a dedicated phone line that dialed a number, buzzed, crackled, and honked it's way onto a landing pad - usually AOL - with an automated voice that greeted you, if you had in fact received mail since last hurtling through space and time into the world wide web. Oh, those were the days when you were ahead of the pack if you had internet speeds greater than 56k/sec and you were a bonafide bigtime-bigdeal-bigshot if you had a website. How's that for a nostalgic blast from the past. I hope this post took you down memory lane. I DO NOT hope your current website does. For those of you who were first on the scene, kudos to you for getting something up there early, but shame on you if it is still there. I'm sure most you have kept up with the times and have high-functioning, well-designed websites, but there is always a hold-out (or two) that think just having a website is enough. Unfortunately it is not and you are doing yourself and your business a disservice by not making sure your web presence reflects changing times, needs and information.
