Google. It is a silly word when you think about it, but it is a powerful force. Can you imagine life with out Google or its byproducts? I, for one, would be in BIG trouble without Gmail, Google Drive, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Picassa, Google Voice, Chrome, or the ability to google. I mean, how else would we zero in on our houses from our computers when we get bored. In all seriousness, Google has inserted its functionality into our lives to the point that most of us can't imagine a world without it; It is one of the most successful corporations in the world. Raise your hand if you waited with baited breath to see what its IPO was going to be. But its success, ubiquity, and necessity notwithstanding, Google has had a few stumbles on its road to success. Who remembers Google Wave, anyone? Yes, Google has made mistakes from which they've learned, and so can you. Of course you can make your own mistakes and learn from them or you can just learn from Google's. Follow the jump if you picked the latter.
